  17. Textfield    2.0    Text entry BOOPSI gadget

  20. The textfield class allows you create an area on your screen for text
  21. entry.  The class supports a number of features including unlimited
  22. or limited text entry, specifying the font to use, specifying the
  23. colors for different parts (text, background, and lines), two types
  24. of borders (with option to invert the borders for a total of 4 types
  25. of borders) or no border, text left/center/right alignment, vertical
  26. centering, and many other options.

  28. There are many new features, and several bugs fixed.  Some of the new
  29. features include: word delete, line delete, Oberon support, faster
  30. scrolling, read-only mode, modified buffer flag, accept and reject
  31. characters, GA_IntuiText, programmable cut/copy/paste/erase.

  40. Triton is a standard Amiga shared runtime library.  Triton makes it
  41. much easier to create good looking graphical user interfaces (GUIs) than
  42. GadTools, BOOPSI or other systems.

  147. Many people don't understand Amiga system error codes displayed
  148. in the alerts.  These codes contain a lot of information and it's
  149. hard to learn what they mean.  This program tries to improve the
  150. alerts by adding the following information:

  189. Dir Menu is a pop up based file selector. You simply  press  a  hotkey
  190. and a menu will pop up on current screen, showing all disk volumes you
  191. have. Then select a volume, and it's root directory will appear.  Then
  192. select  any file on your directory, and Dir Menu will execute selected
  193. file according to its type
  194.  
  195. With Dir Menu you can instantly and quickly browse throught  directory
  196. trees on your disk drives, easily take a look at a picture anywhere on
  197. your disk, read any text without worrying how to load  a  text  shower
  198. first,  look  into a lha archive by simply selecting that archive file
  199. etc.

  201. You can configure what Dir Menu should do on any type of file you will
  202. select.  You can also configure your favorite directories and files to
  203. appear on the first display (when you press a hotkey).

  205. Dir  Menu  will  recognize  almost every known type of files.  It uses
  206. WhatIs  library,  and  that  means  if  there  is any type of file not
  207. already  configured  you  can  configure a new type, and Dir Menu will
  208. remember it for ever!

  215. Scorched_Tanks    1.77    A tank warfare game for 2 to 4 players.
  216.  
  217. Scorched Tanks is a tank warfare game where 1 to 4 human players or
  218. computer controlled opponents, take turns at buying fancy weapons and
  219. shooting them at each other.  The more damage a player causes another,
  220. the more money they get.  The more money a player receives, the larger
  221. the weapons they can buy.  This is a very simple concept, but
  222. extremely addictive!

  224. Scorched Tanks is related to a very popular game called Scorched Earth
  225. on MS-Dos machines.  I've only played Scorched Earth maybe five times
  226. ever.  But it impressed me so much that I decided that the Amiga
  227. needed a version too.  Scorched Tanks is very similar yet VERY
  228. different to the MS-Dos game.
